MASTER BUILDERS SOLUTIONS

Creating a Global Content Platform for Local Markets

The Challenge

Replacing fragmented digital platforms with a single globally governed content platform.

Master Builders Solutions operates across international markets, each with its own languages, products and local content requirements. While regional teams needed the flexibility to publish content relevant to their customers, the organisation also needed to maintain consistent branding, governance and quality across its global digital estate.

The existing SharePoint-based platform had become increasingly difficult to manage and extend. Content was duplicated across multiple sites, publishing processes were inefficient and introducing new functionality required significant effort. Supporting local market requirements while maintaining a consistent global experience had become increasingly complex.

The challenge was to replace fragmented digital platforms with a single, scalable content platform that could support global governance without limiting the flexibility required by local markets.

Our Approach

Designing a global platform that empowers local teams without sacrificing consistency.

Rather than designing a single website, we designed a global content platform capable of supporting multiple regional websites from a shared content architecture.

Working closely with Master Builders Solutions, we identified which content should be managed centrally and where local markets needed the flexibility to create, adapt and publish their own content. This allowed us to establish a governance model that balanced global consistency with regional autonomy.

We developed a reusable content model supporting products, technical documentation, news, campaigns and market-specific content, enabling each region to manage its own digital presence whilst maintaining brand standards, shared content structures and editorial governance.

The Solution

A headless content platform built for global governance and local flexibility.

Psycle delivered a scalable headless content platform built using Contentful, Next.js, Netlify and Algolia, providing a modern architecture capable of supporting both current and future digital requirements.

The platform centralises content management whilst allowing individual markets to publish content tailored to their own audiences, languages and business priorities. Shared content can be managed globally, while regional teams retain the flexibility to create and manage locally relevant material.

Migration from SharePoint included thousands of content assets, product information and technical documentation, creating a modern publishing platform that simplifies content management, improves editorial efficiency and provides a strong foundation for future digital services.

The Outcome

One global platform enabling consistent digital experiences across international markets.

A single global content platform now enables Master Builders Solutions to deliver consistent digital experiences whilst giving local markets the flexibility to manage content that reflects their own products, languages and customer requirements.

Replacing SharePoint with a modern headless architecture has simplified content management, improved editorial governance and provided a scalable foundation that can support new markets, websites and digital services as the organisation evolves.

A shared content model reduces duplication whilst allowing centrally managed content to be reused across regional websites, improving efficiency, consistency and the long-term sustainability of the platform.
